Barry opened his first Vuka franchise in Port Elizabeth in 2007. To celebrate the first year of successful trade, he hosted the Vuka Scuta Mandela Bay Fun Mass Ride on Sunday, 18 May 2008. "We're celebrating our first year of successful trade by inviting all our customers for a fun mass ride to show the public what these amazing scooters are all about," said Hilton.
