Fresh from sell out shows with rave reviews in Hong Kong, Canada and the UAE, South Africa’s favorite cousin and comedian, Barry Hilton will be performing at The Rockwell Theatre in Cape Town on Friday, 4 August.
The multi-award winning comedian who has been wowing crowds for a whopping 35 years, is enjoying performing in Cape Town venues since he’s settled in the Western Cape. “Smaller, intimate venues such as the Rockwell Theatre make for a very real experience and allow me to interact and have fun with the audience. I don’t mock or ridicule audience members, we have fun together and I enjoy making them a part of the show,” says Barry who regularly draws capacity audiences to Cape Town’s GrandWest Arena. “I’ll be sure to include a few fan favorites but it’ll mostly be new material and I’ll draw energy and stories from the audience.”
With a fan base that spans continents, Barry’s worked a multitude of venues across the globe, with his highlight being the main concert hall of the iconic Sydney Opera House last year. People of all ages and from every walk of life, enjoy his observational humor accompanied by hilarious facial expressions and physical impressions. There is no better way to start a weekend, than with laughter, so be sure to get your tickets from Computicket for the show at The Rockwell Theatre on Friday, 4 August.
